Court records in Illinois can be from a state court or a federal court.  Documents with your name on them may be used to establish identity at the Secretary of State Facilities for Category A in order to get a State ID or Driver’s License.

The State of Illinois is divided into 22 judicial circuits, Circuits 1-21 and the Circuit Court of Cook County. Documents for cases in Cook County can be obtained here. Click here to get more information about the other 21 circuits.   In Cook County, you can view criminal records at any Clerk of the Circuit Court Office at each of the Criminal Court branches and learn more about your case. For most records, you can get printed copies at $2.00 per page. If your court case was federal, you might be able to obtain those records here.
